Reported Injured in the Mazraa blast was Nayef Hawatmeh, head of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a group aligned to the PLO, who suffered light wounds in his hands and face when he was hit by flying glass. The actual target of the attack, if it was from some Opposition brigade, was thought to have been the headquarters of the ruling Ba'ath Party. Al Jazeera has a video report made shortly after the bombing, HERE: Three other bombings in the northern neighbourhood of Barzeh, also on Thursday, killed another 22 people, including 19 members of the armed forces, as the Opposition targeted the Drug-Control Branch, the 211th Espionage Branch and a police station. Opposition fighters additionally fired mortars at the Syrian Army General Command building and the state radio and TV building in Omayyad Square in the centre of the capital, in what they called a "retaliation for the Mazraa explosion", but no injuries were
