Searching for Survivors in the Rubble, Aleppo At the same as condemning the above explosions, the Assad Government also launched 3 surface to surface missiles, thought to be Scuds, from a military base, believed to be base 155 near Damascus, which landed Friday, in the night, on the Ard al-Hamra neighbourhood in eastern Aleppo, immediately killing 12, including children, and leaving an estimated 150 injured. One rocket alone was reported to have destroyed 30 homes and searching is still going on today, Saturday, for bodies hidden in the rubble. Latest unconfirmed reports from activists in Aleppo this morning are saying that so far 90 bodies have now been pulled from the destroyed buildings. If confirmed this makes it far worse than the missile attack 4 days ago in which 33 people were killed in Aleppo's Jabal Bedro district (scroll down below).
