There was a lot more made about Howard's end to the year, as he was ejected in the Los Angeles Lakers' final game and then gave the expected non-commitial-type answers during his exit interview. The funny thing is, Paul did exactly the same thing to end his season – he was ejected in his team's final game and then evaded questions about his future in Los Angeles – the difference being, it wasn't made out to be a huge deal like it was with Dwight. The Atlanta Hawks have been lurking in the shadows for a while now, quietly plotting to snatch Howard and Paul away from their respective teams, and Sam Amico has heard that executives around the league think the Hawks can pull it off this off-season: While anything is possible in the NBA, I would be very surprised if either Howard or Paul left Los Angeles this summer, especially to leave like for a team like Atlanta. Of course, Dwight has ties there – he's from Atlanta – yet the L.A. market and the extra $30 million that their current teams can offer would be hard for any player to turn down.
